story of my life :)

I have always looked up to my little sister. She is flippen hot, has a great body, is the sweetest dearest girl you have ever met, has a wonderful personality, and most of her friends are cooler then mine. She decided to start a blog, and 10min after its birth, its already cutter then mine. Ya. I know. Even when she doesnt try to be cooler then me, she totally is.

i cut hair.

Becca needed a haircut, and so I fibbed and told her that I have cut hair many a time. Prolly not the best thing to lie about, but no one is going to let you cut their hair if you tell them you have zero experience. You gotta start some where right? It turned out really good. It actually turned out great! We a-lined it, and cut lots of cute layers too. It freaking rocks for never have cut hair before. It was fun, and now if someone asks me if I have cut hair before I don't have to fib.

i don't do bugs

So in the last three days I have had people kill: 2 cockroaches, 1 cricket, 2 black widows, a couple hundred ants, and a couple of spiders. I have this complex that they are crawling all over my body, and are living in my bed. Oh wait. They prolly are.

you make me feel like dancin'

Do you know how hard it is trying to come up with a theme song for yourself? First you have to decided what kind of genre you are. Then you have to decided if you are more of a slow song, or upbeat kinda person. (Not to mentiont the content of your song.) Next you get to choose from like a million different artists! I dont feel like it is that unrealistic to find one. Maybe I will find like three? It is such a daunting task. Will I ever succssed? I say yea.

subject:

I am convinced that subject lines in e-mails are for party poopers. Isn't the whole point of an e-mail to read it, and find out what it is about? Why give away the surprise in the subject line, when people can just read it themselves? What is up with people now a days? (Disclaimer. I love putiing stuff in my subject line.)

fame

watched it friday night, and have been drooling over it ever since. asher book is a hottie and i have his song on repeat right now. you should watch it. i think you would agree with me. :)

asher book

watch it. its cool.

takin pictures is making memories.

Catching little pieces of time.Making them yours, making them mine. Great vacations and celebrations can fade away in a year. But when we're making memories, happy days are always here!
So for one of the things I wanted to do in while I was here in Mexico was to take a picture everyday. So far I have only missed 2 days. It's pretty cool. I am horrible at putting pictures up, but today I decided it was a good idea, and worth the time.

P.S. The chick in all these pictures is my roomie Liza. I cant remember if I have mentioned her before.

Day 1: Departure. Later Salt Lake!

Day 4: Cold, and rainy. Not what I was expecting. ha

Day 6: H T head teachering rocks.

Day: 8 I have all of my teachers color coded. Quiz me.

W. Arrr. haha Anyways. I signed up for a geocashing account. Its so cool. Im going to do a treasure hunt everywhere I go. Love my life.

i killed him.

He's dead. Like for real. Liza and I came home from church and he had frozen in his bowl. I was so sad... We are going to buy another fishy as soon as the weather warms up. Liza flushed him down the toilet for me. I could'nt do it. It's not supposed to be 48 degrees in Mexico. Poor little guy. We tried to defrost him by putting him in the sun, but no bueno. :( rest well little guy.

b.u.b.b.l.e.s

Today I broke the rules. I bought a beta fish. The total came to 10 pesos. That is less than a dollar my friends! We even rock paper siccored him in the pet store, just to make sure we were making a good purchase. His name: Frez Caliente Seropositivo Sanchez. :)Roughly translated into hottie with positive HIV. (H was the first place we opened up to in our Spanish-English dictonary.) Liza and I are stocked. Now being proud owners of a Beta we responsibly googled advice on how to make sure our the newest family member will be well taken care of. First hit on google. B.U.B.B.L.E.S. An accronim that sums up the basic needs of an average depressed Mexican Beta fish with two insane American mommies. Here we go... Be there for him. Understand your dearest new friend. Beta-tude; being intune with your Beta. Best day ever day, making sure your Beta fish always has a great day! Love Love Love, need I say more. Everything & Anything your Beta needs and could ever want from you. Something extra each day, exceed his expectaions. Best spontaneous purchase I ever made.

identity matrixes

K so I know I didn’t even spell that right, but it's ok cause I didn't even know what that was until last night. So here I am in Mexico living it up as HT CLee. All that really entails so far is making schedules. Teaching schedules, cleaning schedules, SPE schedules, Weekend off schedules. Anyways... Late last night I was working on these "schedules" and little did I know what I was getting myself into. So the details aren’t that important, but please let me share them with you so you can better understand the amount of brain stress I was under. SO. For this particular schedule I was working on, I had 4 teachers. 15 weeks. 6 SPES. 3 teaching spots. This means that I have to successfully divvy out an equal amount of teaching weeks and weeks off; as well as make sure that every teacher teaches the same amount of SPEs, WHILE making sure that they aren’t over lapping during the week. I know this makes no sense to any of you besides maybe a random 3 ILP peps that will read this, but I was just trying to illustrate my point. Back to my story. To make thing simpler we decided to assign each teach a laffy taffy color and visually make a chart so we could figure everything out. This worked like a charm! The only thing is was that we were dealing with a stupid math equation! I knew that there was some simple formula that would fix all of my problems, but because I only made it to pre-calc. I had no idea what it was. ha Thanks goodness that I had Sara and Liza to help me figure things out. You might not appreciate this story. But I was doing smart people math last night, and applying it to real life situations. That is like every math teachers goal. Mr. Ruchti would be so proud of me.

i <3 the 50's

and this is why. how adorable!

h.o.me.

It's only been two weeks since I have been home from Ukraine, and its freaking weird?? It honestly feels like it was a dream sometimes. I miss it. Especially my host family. Utah rocks though! I have been to the cinema (lots cooler then the word movie theater) 4 times, and have eaten out 7 times. I feel like that's a pretty good typical "american experience". oooh! "I put my hands up they are playing my song, the butterflies fly away. Nodding my head like yeah. Moving my hips like yeah. You know Im gunna be ok. Its a party in the U.S.A!" Even though I am in love with america, and that milley cyrus song, I am SO excited to leave for Mexico. 1 day baby. Whoot Whoot! 50 degree weather. Here I come. I think its going to be raining for a like the first month? Good thing I love the rain...
