Last night Meagan and I decided to watch a chick flick before going to bed. After we finished our movie we put in another, and another, and then another. We finally went to bed at 8am.






It was so worth it.

when in mexico

do what the Mexicans do. For four gringas on a Saturday night that included: being serenaded by two cute boys, two guitars, and a lovely song or three. Eating out in the fresh night air. Walking around the market, purchasing street vendor food, and having a blast. Weekends in Mexico aren't so bad. :)

every 2 weeks

Liza and I make the long 30 min walking trek down to Chedraui. That's our grocery store. I beg for sugar cereal, and she whines for cleaning chemicals. After we both give up and give in, we check out and start walking home. One item we never fail to purchase, are garbage bags. If we ever forget them we will be doomed. Every grocery run between 2 norte and Reforma, our bags rip. Cans go rolling, boxes go sprawling, and we break into uncontrolble fits of laughter.This is when we find the garbage bags, bag everything up, and keep on going. It is the most comical endeavor. We are always crying with laughter by the time we make it home. The Mexican get a really good show every 2 weeks.

i woke up this morning

to a red robbin in my courtyard. He was just eating a seed. Im glad he let me take a picture of him. He looked at me. I looked at him. He wished me good morning, and then He flew away.
