Week 54

My new companion...Sister Hancock

Well I have like point 2 seconds left, but let me tell you about my fun crazy good week.

My area is tiny. I have seen all of it. I can ride from one side to the other in about 25 min. Sis Hancock was really good at letting me get used to this place. She introduced me to just about everyone. I am still getting the hang of things but I feel included and starting to sorta get where everyone is at, and who they are. The hardest part of adjusting was meeting and seeing other Americans in the international branch. I did not like them white people. It was kinda cool because it reminded me of when I was little and living in Japan.

We live in the same building as the Zone Leaders and so when we need to give stuff to each other we send it through the elevator. Its really funny. Can you imagine someone needing to use the elevator and seeing a couple of pictures of Jesus in the middle? It’s like someone appirated right out of there.

The Office couples kids were in town this week, and so we got to meet them. It was fun talking with them. We bumped into them right at the end of the night, and so their two boys (grown men) rode our bikes home and we talked with the girls. It was really great.

It was Sis Hancock’s 7th anniversary on Wednesday and we hit every single one of our goals by 5 pm. We had an hour to chill before the Elders Baptism that night and so we cut fruit for the after party. We had 6 investigators and 1 recent convert in attendance. We were stoked we also sang the musical number and it was great.

Church starts at 2 and goes till 6. It’s dark when we go home. Almost every night this week we have stayed up late talking or doing fun stuff like painting nails and laughing really hard about ridiculous moments that happened during the day. We worked really hard and got tons of stuff done.

I really like it here. I will have better stories for you next week.

I love you all!

Love Sis Lee
